The fine print, kept short
Terms & Conditions
Last updated June 2026
These terms cover what Tamias is, what it isn't, and the limits that apply while we're pre-launch. We've kept them as plain as we can.
01Accepting these terms
By joining the waitlist or using Tamias, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
02What Tamias is
Tamias is a portfolio tracker for treasury bills, bonds and stocks across East Africa. It is currently pre-launch. Figures shown in the product and on this site may be illustrative until your own holdings are entered.
03Not financial advice
Tamias is an informational tool. Nothing it shows is investment, tax or legal advice, and no insight is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold. Decisions about your money remain yours; consult a licensed professional where you need advice.
04We never hold your money
Tamias has no access to your bank, broker or custodian accounts and cannot move, trade or custody funds. You tell us what you own; we help you read it.
05Your account
Keep your login details secure and the information you enter accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
06Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, scrape it at scale, or use it to break the law. We may suspend access that does.
07Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” while in pre-launch. To the extent the law allows, Tamias is not liable for losses arising from decisions made using the product or from interruptions to it.
08Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use means you accept the revised terms.
09Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Questions? Write to us — a person will answer.
